Does Guess Canada do a Criminal background check?

I have a interview with Guess Canada and need to fill out the application. I do have a criminal background check, and fear that if I say yes on the application my consideration would be nullified. I really need this job and really need to know if they actually follow through and do the full search.

   You shouldn’t lie on the application. They may ask you what your criminal record is for. The store has to look out for their own best interests so if they feel hiring you is too big a risk than they probably won’t.
