I was wondering if it’s possible to get a copy of your own criminal record? If there’s a website even better but if not where would someone go to do this? Btw, just wanted to mention it’s for small misdemeaners like underage drinking not felonies. I think that makes a difference as I just read a question of someone elses and someone said felonies can’t be removed.

If u want it free, try to break the law and get caught. They’ll look it up for you.
Get arrested for something. They will have no problem telling you.
There is a website. I live in Fort Bend. So i would go to the Fort Bend County Clerk Website. And look up my record/charges. Or just go to the courthouse. If it is a juvenile record you may have a little more trouble.
Maybe if you go to the police
I asked this question to a state cop and he told me that you have to go to your local city or county office and request it.
Go to youyr town hall and ask for a copy
you can go to the courthouse in your town or the police dept….sometimes they have them online, but not always.
contact the police dept or order a search online. you’ll pay about $15-$100 and have results within 24-48 hours. or whatever county your offense is in go to your states’ comptrollers’ website (google it) and look up yourself. good luck.
The local Courthouse or Constabulary will give you that information, usually for a nominal fee. 5€ at the most.
You can go to your county sherriff dept and get a copy for about 10 bucks. But, beware, because if you have anything active (warrants)…you won’t be leaving!
You go to the courthouse, present valid id. or birth certificate, photo id, and social, then pay a fee for a clerk who is licensed or certified on NCIC and state criminal information system to run your history. She or he will input your social and name and birthdate, and get any criminal history which may exist on you within the borders of your country.
Hopefully still, it is not so very easy to get this online unless you have access to the correct databases. Still, I would not bet that a good hacker couldn’t find it online if she or he wanted to do so.
My advice, if you are willing to listen or consider, is to stop whatever behaviour it is that is causing you to run afoul of the law. There might still be time for you to amend your ways and make restitution, before you become a recidivist.
You’ll have to do your home work.
+++++++++option 1++++++Go to the court house where you went to court and ask the bailiff of the court for your criminal records.
By law, They cannot give them to you. Because it’s THEIR records and not YOURS.
+++++++++option 2+++++++Pay a lawyer to do it for you or a Private Investor gator to obtain these records for you.
Websites are inaccurate and provide outdated information.
You can go to your local court house and request one.It costs about $25.00
i would start my search by asking the sherriffs department or police department that you were arrested at. if they can’t give it to you they can at least tell you what you have to do to get it. look the number up though, don’t call 911. they might not be to happy about that.
with the whole not being able to get felonies off you record thing, you can get some felonies off your record. you just have to make sure to get the right plea bargain. if you end up ever catching a felony, make sure you plea bargain for an SiS. It means sentence in suspension. It means that you plead guilty and the hold your sentence over your head the whole time you are on probation. If you mess up you will likely get the max penalty for the crime you pleaded guilty to, but if you don’t mess up you can withdraw your guilty plea when your probation is over. it will then be off your record. you still won’t be able to get jobs that require a high security clearance, but most companies to require security clearance. it would be more for government jobs, or companies that work on top secret stuff for the government.
Why do they need one? Surely they know what crimes they’ve done. What a stupid Q.
