Criminal Background Checks

I just got summoned to criminal court for something very petty. How bad is this regarding my future?

Im in college now, and im looking to get an internship, will this show up on my background checks now?

   Depends what you did. If you get charged with anything…yes it will be on your record

   only if found guilty. can’t be too petty if you are being hauled into court.
